The first art salon opened in 1667 in Paris and was named "Salon de Paris."
Our current exhibit, "Salon de San Francisco," pays homage to the French salon-style, floor-to-ceiling art exhibits of the 17th and 19th centuries.
We present our own version with 10 global contemporary artists in the gallery salon style.
Please see over 30 original paintings in person at our opening reception on Saturday, July 13.
In this exhibit, we would like to feature 10 global contemporary artists. In the spirit of the original Salon de Paris, artists practice in different mediums, use a variety of subjects, and come literally from all over the world. Artists presented are from South Africa, Japan, Chile, Israel, Nepal, Ukraine, Iceland, Nepal, the Republic of Georgia, and Armenia.
